Facilities at Bude Holiday Resort
Bude Holiday Resort is a friendly place for families, couples and solo travellers. The park underwent an upgrade in 2017 with the addition of brand new fully serviced pitches for touring caravans and camper vans, a new heated outdoor pool, owners’ only static caravan and lodge development and brand new hire fleet caravans, including a new Platinum range, with decking. The new touring site has a state of the art amenity building with central heating, washing up facilities and an elsan point. The park also has a launderette including washers, dryers, ironing board & hand washing facilities. On site we have an adventure playground, cafe, bar and beer garden and amusement arcade. We have family friendly entertainment in our Venue bar (summer months only) and an outdoor heated swimming pool (open May – September) We are open for a 12 month season, so you can holiday with us any time of the year*!

Bude Holiday Resort offers excellent on site facilities for those staying in our self-catering accommodation or on our touring site. You’ll find everything you need to make your holiday unforgettable and whatever the weather, we’re on hand to create memories that last a lifetime!
Please note opening times of some facilities will vary, particularly outside of the main season.
New for 2018 the Coast cafe is open Wednesdays to Sundays and offers a breakfast and bakery service from 9am – 11am and an evening bar and snack menu from 5pm – 9pm. The new cafe is situated just off the Atlantic bar and so you can order and eat your food whilst enjoying a drink or entertainment. Download our Menu
Bude Holiday Resort has standard glamping pods available which contain a TV, fridge, microwave, heater plus a fold down double bed and two fold up mattresses for the kids.
At Bude Holiday Resort we have all your touring and campervan needs covered including gravel hardstanding, fully serviced, pitches with parking bays. There are brand new, free shower and toilet facilities, a dish washing area, launderette, disabled shower room and an Elsan point.
Bude Holiday Resort offers you direct access to the South West Coast path where a gentle stroll will take you down to Norcott Beach, or within 15 minutes, to Crooklets and Bude town centre. We have our own private path with links up to the Coast Path and gives you fabulous cliff top views, all the way.
Sit out and relax on our sun terrace, around the outside pool. Enjoy traditional deckchairs, loungers and and a beach hut style changing room to make your day at the pool as comfortable as possible.
Our brand new toilet and shower block provides large, spacious showers which makes showering with children really easy. Our toilets have mirrored basins and hand-wash, plus there is a separate disabled shower room.
Tucked into a quiet part of Bude Holiday Resort, our heated outdoor swimming pool was completely refurbished in 2017. With new water features and an improved poolside area, including deck chairs and sun loungers, this is the perfect place to enjoy some summer sun. The pool is open usually between May and Mid September, subject to weather. Please note the outdoor pool is currently closed for the Autumn/Winter Season
Our club house bar provides a welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy. Grab a drink and relax playing pool in the daytime, or be seated for our nightly entertainment in the evening. The bar is open from march – Oct and entertainment runs from the last week in June to the first week in September.
Added in 2017 our Beer Garden is situated outside the Atlantic Bar and Club and includes a covered sail for shade. Enjoy your holiday drinks al fresco in this lovely outdoor setting.
Right next door to the Atlantic Bar is our amusement arcade. There’s fun and games aplenty inside, so the younger ones can spend those coppers ‘til their heart’s content! Please note: During quieter seasons opening times may change.
Located in the middle of our Resort the adventure playground has been designed for entertaining children in the great outdoors! There’s plenty of slides, swings and frames for them to clamber on in Bude’s glorious summer sunshine.
Our self-service laundrette is open every day, should you need to do any laundry during your stay. There are coin operated washing machines and tumble dryers inside, as well as a sink area for hand-washing items.
Our 2019 Summer entertainment programme will run from July to the end of August and the content will be confirmed soon. Inspiring painters, photographers and visitors alike, Bude’s beaches are truly breathtaking. At Summerleaze you’ll find beach huts and a beautiful tidal swimming pool. Crooklets offers a huge expanse of golden sand and is popular with surfers of all abilities. Out of town you’ll find even more delights such as Northcott Mouth, Widemouth Bay and Sandymouth.

A part of Bude’s history as a seaside resort, Bude Sea Pool is a must-visit during your stay. Created in the 1930s, part man-made and part natural environment, Bude Sea Pool is an incredible part of Bude to uncover. Enjoy a blissful swim amongst the cliffs and bathe in the sunlight at this unique spot. Admission is unrestricted and completely free.

The local area is brilliant for walks and bike rides through the countryside and along the coast. Our resort has a private path leading onto the South West Coastal Path where you can start many beautiful walks. Bude Tourist Information Centre has some leaflets with great short and long circular walks around the local area. Bude has some lovely quiet route-ways ideal for cycling and it is not far from the the Wenfordbridge end of the Camel Trail.
Take a stroll beside or paddle along the historic Bude Canal. Stop off at the local Tourist Information Centre and head to the Canal where you can hire a canoe, kayak, pedaloe, or bike for you and your family. The level towpath makes the Canal ideal for wheelchair users and pushchairs.

Bude Castle is ideal for anyone eager to learn Bude’s rich heritage, geology, natural history and local art. Built in 1830 by inventor Sir Goldsworthy Gurney, today it is the ideal space for you to discover all there is to know about Bude and the surrounding area. From shipwrecks, Gurney’s inventions, the town’s history to local artwork, it’s a great day out with the family.

Ride the Cosmic Typhoon roller coaster, go wild on the assault courses and slides inside the indoor play area, and kick back to watch some amazing magic shows and animal displays.
